Raymond R. Soliman was re-elected Mayor to his 4th term on April 6, 2021. Ray has served the City of Crest Hill as a Police Officer (1980-1985), Plan Commissioner (1991-1993), Ward 1 Alderman (1993-2009), Mayor (2009-present) and Crest Hill Veterans and Police Memorial Committee Chairman (1995-present).
Ray has been married to Vicky for the past 40 years. They have two daughters, Stephanie (son-in-law Guy Waters) and Emily (son-in-law John Morris) and 1 granddaughter. Ray is a graduate of St. Joseph's Catholic Grade School in Joliet, Joliet Catholic High School and Lewis University. Ray retired from the Westmont Post Office as a letter carrier on July 31, 2015 after completing 30 years of service.
Ray is an active member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Crest Hill, the Lockport Township Fire Foundation, the Crest Hill Lions Club, Old Timers Baseball, Joliet Rivals, Moran Athletic Club and the Crest Hill Area Chamber of Commerce.
