Raymond R. Soliman was elected Mayor on April 7, 2009. Ray has served the City of Crest Hill as a Police Officer (1980-1985), Plan Commissioner (1991-1993), Ward 1 Alderman (1993-2009), and Crest Hill Veterans and Police Memorial Committee Chairman (1995-present).
Ray has been married to Vicky for the past 29 years. They have two daughters, Stephanie and Emily. Ray is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Catholic Grade School in Joliet, Joliet Catholic High School and Lewis University. Ray has been employed at the Westmont Post Office for the past 26 years.
Ray is an active member of St. Annes’ Church in Crest Hill, the Lockport Township Fire Foundation, the Crest Hill Lions Club, Old Timers Baseball, Joliet Rivals, Moran Club and the Crest Hill Area Chamber of Commerce.
