Convery has been married to Mae for 49 years. He is the father of three children and six grandchildren. Charles resides in the Carillon Lakes Subdivision.

Convery serves in the following organizations: Crest Hill Lions Club, St. Annes Catholic Church, Crest Hill Veterans’ and Police Memorial Committee and the Crest Hill Chamber of Commerce.
